GETTING WOMEN FOUNDERS FUNDED

We help brilliant women-built businesses find amazing angel investors.

Make connections.

Secure investment.

Get growing.

WE DO INVESTMENT DIFFERENTLY

Here at Obu, we believe finding the right angel investors for your business isn’t about stressful pitches, endless waits for feedback or confusing technical jargon. It’s about making real connections and building positive, respectful relationships.

In 2023 we supported femtech and SaaS founders in raising almost £300k – and in 2024 we’re looking forward to working with a handpicked cohort
of new women founders.

  • "Raising investment with Obu is about finding angels who believe in the positive, purposeful business you’re building."

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

Last year was huge for Obu. We launched, we championed some incredible women-built businesses and we helped them raise almost £300k to scale, grow and take on the world.

But when you’re breaking new ground, there’s always a fresh challenge. On 31 January 2024, the UK government changed the rules on angel investor eligibility, significantly increasing the amount of money you need to qualify as an angel on a platform like ours.

It’s a change we know will have a significant impact on Obu, so we’re taking a moment to assess, recalibrate and update the proposition we offer to amazing women founders. We’re just as determined as ever to get funding into women-built businesses, so if you’d like to be the first to hear what’s next for founders at Obu, we’d love to keep you posted.
