What we’ll cover.

Creating change.

We’ll dive into the reasons why diversity in angel investing is so vital, and the role women can play in making it happen.

The rise of impact investors.

We’ll explore how impact-driven angel investors are creating a more socially and environmentally conscious world

Exploring your motivations.

We’ll dig into the difference you want to make as an angel, so you can start to build your personal investment thesis.

Debunking the myths.

We’ll tackle the top five misconceptions about angel investing, and the truths more people need to know.

Finding opportunities right for you.

We’ll get practical about uncovering investment that are in step with your priorities.

Why risk awareness is your superpower

We’ll reframe the narrative that women are risk adverse and spotlight why risk awareness in due diligence is your secret superpower.

Making tax incentives work for you.

Our partners Cooper Parry will explain the tax implications of angel investing, including the potential benefits of government incentives like SEIS & EIS.

Investing beyond capital with capital+.

We’ll look at what it means to invest more than money – becoming a non-executive director, board member, mentor or cheerleader.

Who’s invited?

We’ve designed the day to give aspiring and relatively new angel investors the know-how and inspiration to invest with purpose.

If you want to play a role in closing the gender investment gap and can say yes to all of the below, we’d love you to join us:

  • I want to make my first/next investment in the next 12 months

  • I want to back purposeful, impact-driven businesses

  • I want to explore taking an active role (as a cheerleader, mentor, advisor or board member)

  • I want to nurture connections with other purpose-driven new angels

What to expect.

We’ve designed our masterclass to be a supportive, focused, small-group experience that gives you the know-how you need to take real, purposeful action.

Our next one-day Masterclass will take place in the heart of the East Midlands, hosted for us by our partners Cooper Parry, we’ll bring together 10 women who share the desire, and curiosity, to make an impact, drive equality and create positive change.

It’s a safe, empowering space where you’ll be able to learn, explore and ask questions, as Sarah and a handpicked selection of guest speakers lead insightful lessons, discussions and Q&A sessions.

Meet our guest speakers.

We know how important it is for you to hear directly from impact-led entrepreneurs AND their angel investors. These honest, candid conversations create an opportunity for real connection, learning and provide an inspiring start to the development of your investment network.
